Key Takeaways
Almost every hair transplant in Turkey is sold as a package: one price that covers the operation and most of the trip around it. For a patient flying in from New York, London or Toronto, that is a real convenience. You know the cost before you book, someone meets you at the airport and you do not have to organise a hotel in a city you do not know.
The problem is that packages are easy to compare on the wrong things. A five-star hotel and a VIP car are visible; who opens the channels in your scalp is not. This page explains what a package should contain, compares the three packages at the clinic where I operate, and lists the fine print worth checking before you pay anything. For prices across the market, see hair transplant cost in Turkey.
What Is an All-Inclusive Hair Transplant Package?
An all-inclusive hair transplant package is a fixed price that combines the procedure with the services a travelling patient needs: accommodation, transfers, pre-operative tests, medication, aftercare products and follow-up. In Turkey it has become the standard way to sell hair transplants. In my experience, around 90% of clinics here work this way, and only one or two still calculate the price by the number of grafts.
The word “all-inclusive” itself has no legal meaning. One clinic’s package may include three nights, PRP and a year of follow-up; another’s may include two nights and a bottle of shampoo. That is why the written list matters more than the name.
What a Hair Transplant Package in Turkey Usually Includes
Looking across the package pages that rank for this search, the contents fall into three groups:
The last line in the “Rarely” column is the one I care about most. Very few package pages say which steps a doctor performs in each tier, yet it is the single factor that shapes your result the most.
How Packages Compare With Pricing in the US and UK
The all-inclusive package is largely a Turkish model. Patients comparing an Istanbul package with a quote from home are often comparing two different things, because clinics in the United States and the United Kingdom are set up for local patients and price the procedure on its own.
United States: per graft, with extras billed separately
Most American practices bill per graft or per session, and give a final price only after an in-person consultation. Totals usually run from about $6,000 to $15,000 (€5,100–€12,700) or more: average financed amounts in early 2026 were around $9,800 (€8,300) in New York and $15,000 (€12,700) in Los Angeles, according to data from US hair restoration practices. The consultation, pre-operative blood tests, prescriptions, shampoos, PRP and follow-up visits are often charged on top, as US practices’ own 2026 price breakdowns show. Many patients pay through third-party financing, since health insurance does not cover a cosmetic hair transplant.
United Kingdom: per graft or per session, sometimes with finance
UK clinics also quote per graft, per session or per area to be treated. A survey of 58 UK clinics found an average quote of £4,820 (€5,760) for 1,500 grafts, about £3.25 (€3.90) per graft, with quotes for the same patient ranging from £1,995 to £15,000. A full FUE session typically costs £3,000–£10,000 (€3,590–€11,960). The surgeon, team, theatre, local anaesthetic and a basic aftercare kit are usually included; the consultation, prescriptions, early washes and PRP, at around £150–£600 (€180–€720) a session, are often extra, according to 2026 reviews of UK clinic prices.
Side by side, the three models look like this:

The Packages at My Clinic, Compared
I operate at Smile Hair Clinic in Istanbul, which has three packages. All have a fixed price that does not change with the number of grafts, and all include VIP transfers, pre-operative blood tests, PRP, medication, an aftercare package and a one-year care plan. The differences are below.
Prices are set in euros; dollar and pound amounts are approximate, converted at about €1 = $1.18 = £0.84 (October 2026). Full details are on the clinic’s cost page.
What the Whole Trip Really Costs: Three Worked Examples
The question most patients actually want answered is not “how much is the package?” but “how much will I spend in total, compared with staying at home?” These examples add a return flight and meals to the package price, using typical October 2026 figures.
Flight and meal ranges are typical market figures and change with season and airline. Home-country figures from the sources in the section above. Travel insurance and time off work are not included in any of the totals.
Two things stand out. Even the surgeon-performed Diamond package, with travel, usually comes in below the average New York price for the procedure alone. And for a London patient the saving is largest at the team-led level, while the Diamond trip costs about the same as a UK procedure of similar size, with the difference that a senior surgeon performs the critical steps. Which matters more to you is a personal decision; the point is to compare totals, not headline prices.
How to Choose Between the Packages
The packages are not matched to your stage of hair loss. A patient with a receding hairline and a patient with advanced loss receive the same careful plan in every package, and the graft number is set by your donor area, never by the tier. The choice comes down to one question: which doctor do you want to perform your procedure?
Everything else follows from that choice: the hotel, the number of nights and extras such as exosome therapy. Whichever package you choose, the technique is decided by your hair, not by the package. The differences between Sapphire FUE, DHI and unshaven procedures are on my techniques page.
What the trip looks like
With the Diamond package, most patients stay three nights: arrival, operation day, a check-up and the first wash before flying home. Zach came to Istanbul with his fiancée for a 4,000-graft procedure and filmed the trip.

What a Package Never Covers
Even the most complete package leaves some costs to you. Plan for:
- Flights to and from Istanbul
- Meals other than breakfast and lunch on operation day
- A companion’s room if they do not share yours, and their meals
- Extra nights if you want to see the city before your operation
- Travel insurance that covers medical treatment abroad
Typical amounts for each of these are on the cost page. Bringing a companion is a good idea for the first night after surgery, and most hotels can add a second guest to a double room for little or nothing; just tell the clinic in advance.
Can I Get a Hair Transplant Package With Flights?
Rarely, and I would not look for one. Clinics cannot price flights from every city in advance, so “packages with flights” are usually sold by agencies that add their own margin. You will almost always get a better fare, and more flexibility, by booking yourself once your operation date is confirmed.
Book a flight that lands the day before your operation, and a return after your first wash. Istanbul has two airports, Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW); either works, as transfers are included. The full trip plan, visa rules and packing list are on my hair transplant in Turkey page.
The Fine Print to Check Before You Pay a Deposit
Most package pages say nothing about payment terms, cancellations or who operates. Ask every clinic these questions, including mine, and get the answers in writing:
One more warning sign: pressure to pay a deposit within hours, before any doctor has seen photos of your hair. A good clinic will want to assess you first.
Do Packages Come With a Guarantee?
Many package pages advertise a “lifetime guarantee” or “growth warranty”. Read the terms before you are reassured by them. Most only cover the operated area, require you to follow every aftercare step and send photos on schedule, and often amount to a second procedure, which uses more of your donor area.
The care rules that make the most difference in the first weeks are in this short video, and in full in the patient guide.

Frequently Asked Questions About Hair Transplant Packages in Turkey
How much is a Turkey hair transplant package?
Most all-inclusive packages cost $2,350–$5,900 (€2,000–€5,000). At Smile Hair Clinic they range from €2,390 ($2,820 · £2,000) for Gold to €5,790 ($6,840 · £4,840) for Diamond, the package in which I perform the procedure.
What is included in an all-inclusive hair transplant package?
Usually the operation, local anaesthesia, 2–3 hotel nights, transfers, an interpreter, blood tests, medication, aftercare products and a period of follow-up. Many packages also include PRP. Flights, travel insurance and a companion’s costs are almost never included.
What is the best hair transplant package in Turkey?
The best package is the one where you know which doctor will perform which steps, the graft plan is based on your donor area and the follow-up is in writing. The hotel and car matter much less than those three things.
Does the price change if I need more grafts?
Not at Smile Hair Clinic: every package has a fixed price, whatever the number of grafts your plan needs. Some other clinics cap grafts per package and charge extra beyond it, so always ask.
Can I bring a companion?
Yes, and it is a good idea. If they share your room, there is usually little or no extra cost. Their flights and meals, and a separate room if needed, are paid separately. Tell the clinic before you arrive.
Is a hair transplant package with flights a good deal?
Usually not. Packages with flights tend to be sold by agencies that add a margin. Booking your own flight once your date is confirmed is normally cheaper and more flexible.
Can I add extra nights to my package?
Yes. If you want to see Istanbul, add nights before the operation rather than after, when your scalp needs rest and protection. Extra nights are charged separately.
